New system within the ONYX-Family, the ONYX 25, specially design for extreme large boards-up to 520mm large and unlimited in the depth.

The bottom heater is available with a large surface of 300x300mm, up to 600x300mm (option)

The dearance for components is 30mm, or 70mm high. The optical vision system allows to align components as large as 75mm.

The component will then be placed automatically by use of an integrated Force measuring System.

Of course, lead free operation and Nitrogen input are standart.

The ONYX 25 is a semi-automatic selective soldering and desoldering system for the precise rework of all SMD and Fine Pitch components. It consists of a fully automatic solder head and a manual x/y table for the fast and simple positioning of the component on to the printed circuit board.

The x/y table which has been developed for this type of applications is well known and estimated by the operators, because it is very precise and smooth running, without any backlash or play. Thanks to the optimized positioning wheels and the hand support an ergonomic and fatigue free posture is garanteed.

The ONYX 25 is the ideal system for repairs, prototyping or small series production.

Thereby extremely large printed circuit boards can be equipped without any problem as a standard. Breadthwise up to 520 mm, in the depth without limitation. The size of the preheater area can be upgraded from 300x300mm to 600x300mm (7kW).

For higher components the top side clearance can be extended from 30mm to 70mm. As a standard components of a square size of 75mm can be reworked easily.

The motorized z-axis combined with the force measurement assures that the SMD components are placed safely and precisely.

As for all models of the ONYX product line lead free operation and the connection for nitrogen is part of the standard machine.
